Live music with an all-star line-up! A truly spectacular music event in a celebration of music, community activism and volunteering honouring our good friend Louis Rompre. The next Wasylena’s Perogie night is Thursday, February 14th.  That’s Valentine’s Day folks!  Luther, Brant and Mel are back in our kitchen serving up plates of freshly homemade perogies with aged cheddar, bacon, onion, sour cream and coleslaw all for $10 a plate.  To make it not only the cheapest but the best date night ever, Chris Brown will be crooning away some of his favorite schmaltzy love tunes.  Served from 5-8pm, make your reservations now!!  Bags for take home also available.  These are the best darn perogies you will ever stick in your yip! 459-3943.

Sunday February 3 is Super Bowl, and in an effort to accommodate all tastes Hampsey’s House Party will take place in the afternoon from 2-4pm.  Extra special guest this week is Terry Tufts.  We’ll be showing Super Bowl on the big screen with some snacks at 6:30.  Next week it’s back to normal, every Sunday evening from 7-9pm.  Thanks!!

If you are from the WCEF (La Pêche, Low and Chelsea) area and you don’t expect to be with family or friends for Christmas Day, perhaps you can join others in the community and enjoy a turkey meal at the same time.  Have a holly jolly Christmas!

The next EARLE’S HALL LIVE is December 21st at KAFFE 1870.  Come witness many local heroes get their jingle jangle on in Christmas Pageant form.  Broadcasting live from Earle’s Hall upstairs onto the big screen in KAFFE 1870 below, catch a glimpse of the magic that Earle’s Hall has to offer.  Anyone who has seen one of the previous productions will tell you what special events these are.  Confirmed guest include Luther Wright + JJ Hardill…stay tuned for more teasers!!

Perogie Night is coming around again!  We will be serving up Wasylena’s Handmade Perogies on Thursday, December 6th from 5pm until 8 at the comfy cozy Kaffe 1870.  Come in out of the cold for a yummy plate of cheesy, potato goodness served with all the fixings.  As well we will have bags of 20, frozen perogies available for you to purchase and take home to stock your freezer.  For home order at other times (local delivery available) please contact us at: wperogies@gmail.com.   Luther Wright & Brant Lucuik  Reserve now at 459-3943!!
