After a long cold winter, we have a few more reasons to shake off the dust of hibernation as we have a few more things going on Friday nights. This Friday, April 17, we launch a new version of Open Stage that features a full band hosting. This means full drums, unlike Wednesday nights. Louis Rompré is organizing these nights as well, you can contact him to get your name on the list to host or you can call the Kaffé at 819-459-3943 for more details. If you want to play, just show up after 8pm and get your name on the list. After this month, the Open Stage night will be the second Friday of every month. Wednesdays will continue its weekly format. There is no cover for either night. These are excellent opportunities to show off your stuff if you want to book a show at the Kaffé - Mark is our booker and works both nights.

DJ Billy’s Rock ‘n Roll Dance party will continue to spin the last Friday of every month. This is also a free event - get your dancing shoes on.

Due largely to the overwhelming number of folks who want to play at the Kaffé, we will also start having live bands the first and third Fridays of every month starting in May. Guthrie House from Perth featuring Big Dave Balfour (of Dog Day Afternoon) will kick it all off May 1st. An old friend, he’s coming in to celebrate Leigh’s birthday - you should come too. We will also continue the Kaffé Karaoke nights, which fall on the Friday night closest to the first of the season. The next one will be June 19. You haven’t seen Karaoke like this!
